Keynote Address: Living Longer with HIV – Challenges and Triumphs

Dr. Matthew Russell, Interim Section Head for Geriatric Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, will explore the unique challenges of aging with HIV, including increased risks of chronic conditions and Geriatric Syndromes. As co-director of the Age-Positively program, he specializes in patient-centered care models that focus on prevention, management, and advocacy to improve quality of life. Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, and Hospice & Palliative Medicine, Dr. Russell brings extensive expertise in geriatric care, infectious disease collaboration, and medical education.
